"The Call To Kingly Intercession"

Several weeks ago, upon seeing pictures of an Appeal to Heaven flag being waved over the plains of Nineveh—the location of the first known transforming revival—I was extremely excited. I quickly sent the picture to one of my friends whose immediate response was, "Our prayers have tapped into the root of awakening in the earth." For the past year, connecting my personal testimony with the profound history pertaining to our nation's founding, I have been rallying the Church to make "an Appeal to Heaven."

In the midst of dismal circumstances, countless Believers have responded to this call. Based on what the Holy Spirit spoke to my friend, I believe the appeals to Heaven have been heard and we are now moving into the next phase of this new era—a Third Great Awakening that will impact the world!

We must be mindful, however, that successfully stepping into a new season calls for inquiring of the Lord concerning what we must do differently. Change will be necessary in order to come into proper alignment with the season, preparing us for what He wants to release to us and through us in this kairos time. One of the things I hear the Lord saying is that in this new season, we must pray differently.

Keys For Kingly Intercession

Isaiah 22:22 and Matthew 16:18-19 are essential passages of Scriptures for shifting into this new aspect of prayer. Both mention "keys" as a way to illustrate the Believer's authority in the spirit realm. These keys are indispensable tools God is highlighting for igniting a prayer movement that will bring about a righteous turnaround in this nation.

"Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder,
When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open." Isaiah 22:22

"I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. "I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in Heaven." Matthew 16:18-19

Using our authority to open and close spiritual doors is an aspect of prayer I sometimes refer to as "kingly intercession." My understanding of this facet of prayer, which I will also call "governmental intercession," began with an unusual comment made to me by a prophet in the late 1980s and culminated with a statement the Lord made to me in 2002.

"God is going to bring the Church into the fresh age of the Melchizedek order, and you will be a part of initiating it," declared the prophet. I had no idea what this meant. Fast-forward approximately fifteen years to October 2002. I was praying for America, primarily concerning the judicial system, when I heard the Holy Spirit say, "You will fully shift the government of America when the prayer movement fully shifts from priestly intercession only, to kingly intercession as well."

Suddenly, I remembered what the prophet had said to me years ago. And, finally, I understood "the fresh age of the Melchizedek order." Grasping this revelation will expand our understanding of governmental or kingly intercession.

Understanding The Melchizedek Order

Melchizedek was first mentioned in Genesis 14, again in Psalm 110, and then once more in the book of Hebrews. He was a "type" or picture of Jesus in several ways, one of which was that he was both a king and a priest. At the time, this was unheard of. Zechariah 6:13, a messianic verse describing Christ, refers to Him in His King-Priest role, "...Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices."

The function of a king was to rule, representing God's authority to people; the role of priests was to serve, representing the people to God. As our High Priest, Jesus represents our needs and desires to God. As the King, Christ represents and releases the rule, authority and will of God from Heaven to earth. His Kingly role is God-centered, while His Priestly responsibility is human-centered; one releases power and authority (king), the other love, mercy and grace (priest). The priestly role is petition or intercession-oriented; the kingly role is declarative, decreeing God's word and will.

As co-laborers, partners with and representatives of Jesus Christ, we have become extensions of His King-Priest role. Most Christians, though they may or may not think of it as priestly activity, realize that we are to offer up worship and prayer (petitions) from earth to Heaven. Almost none, however, have understanding or involvement in God's plan concerning our kingly representation of Christ (decrees). We are not only priests, we are a "royal (kingly) priesthood" (1 Peter 2:9), who have been given the keys of Kingdom authority in which to bind and loose, forbid and allow, close and open.

As Holy Spirit reemphasizes these prophetic words and Scriptures to me, I sense that He is calling His ekklesia to step fully into our responsibility for kingly intercession. The Lord is calling us to shift from merely petitioning the Father, to also making decrees (official orders, edicts or decisions), declarations (announcements or formal statements) and proclamations (the process of binding and loosing) as we are prophetically inspired by Holy Spirit to do so.

The power of God's decreed Word is extraordinary! It releases His creativity, His salvation, and yes, His judgments! He rules through His Words, and so must we. Consider these verses of Scripture:

"How forcible are right words!" Job 6:25

"You will also decree a thing and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways." Job 22:28

"Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant." Jeremiah 1:9-10

"So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army." Ezekiel 37:10

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Proverbs 18:21

The Time Is At Hand

Even as I have heard God's clarion call to wield the Isaiah 22:22 key in the governmental arena once again (which you may read about here), I sense that He is calling His ekklesia in America to pray with greater fervency and diligence concerning our national government, especially for the election in 2016.

With several Supreme Court Justices reaching expected retirement ages over the next decade, new nominations to the bench will be forthcoming. The next President, especially if re-elected for a second term, could have a crucial influence on the future of the Supreme Court (the President appoints the Supreme Court nominees). This will, in many ways, determine the future of our nation.

We must fill the bowls of intercession in advance for these choices (Revelation 8:3-5). The Lord is inviting us to take the keys He has made available to us and fully shift our national government. The American church must go beyond asking and petitioning the Lord only, to also decreeing and declaring His will and purposes into the earth. We must move from merely presenting our case before God as priests, to decreeing the rule of Christ into every situation and circumstance. It's time to wield the keys of Kingdom authority and shift into kingly intercession.

Our appeals to Heaven truly are being answered. But let's do even more. It's time to agree with and boldly voice Heaven's decrees in order to establish Heaven's government on earth. I am persuaded that we can turn the tide in America through effective governmental intercession. The Lord's will can be accomplished in our land, and righteousness can be restored to the White House, Congress, and the judicial system.

America, the time is now. God is bringing forth the fresh age of the Melchizedek order. Be a part of it!

An Old Dream Reawakened

Recently I've had several prophetic events referring to a vivid dream I had in the mid-1990s. I feel that God is about to release and restore some foundational truths revealed in this dream – truths that God has waited to unveil. The time for the revealing has come!

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2

As the dream begins, I'm driving with Bob Jones on the German autobahn. We're in a magnificent German automobile, driving at a very fast speed down a beautiful stretch of roadway. Bob and I are talking about past and pending moves of God. Bob then instructs me, saying, "When I tell you to, pull over to the side of the road and stop." In a few moments, Bob said, "I think this is the place! Pull over!" I slowed the car and pulled to a stop off the shoulder of the road. As we got out of the car, we saw that the shoulder fell off into a ditch that was quite steep, beyond which was an exceptionally tight barbed wire fence, obviously meant to keep out intruders. Surveying the surroundings closely, Bob said excitedly, "Yes! Yes! This is the right place!"

He pointed out a small opening in the fence between the wires. Extremely thick brush had grown against the fence, but Bob pointed to a faint, unused path. It was encouraging to see Bob so excited and exceedingly happy that we had discovered the right place to gain entrance. It was difficult for us to walk down and back up the ditch to the fence, but we made it, and, with care, edged our way through the tightly woven barbed wire.

Once inside the fenced area, we began to make our way tediously up a hill through dense brush; the way was getting clearer and easier to travel with every step. I was eager to find out what our destination was, and I asked Bob, only to be told that he wasn't quite sure, but that we would surely find out when we arrived there!

Through the Double Doors

The hill became steeper as we walked, and after a difficult climb up the mountain path, we arrived at a massive old barn. The barn itself was a wonderful work of outstanding craftsmanship, a work of art, extremely old yet in pristine condition. The barn had two very large doors that were locked with what appeared to be a large, stainless steel chain and master lock. Bob beamed with a delightful smile, however, when I asked him if he knew the combination to the lock. Nodding his head as if to say, "You didn't even have to ask," he carefully began to turn the dial on the lock. I watched with great interest. He slowly turned the lock to the left five full turns, stopping at the number 3. Then he turned the dial to the right three full turns, stopping at the number 4, then back to the left, stopping at the number 1, then around to 6, then to 8, then back to the number 2.

At this point, the lock clicked. It opened. I said to Bob, "I knew you would have used 3-4-1, but I didn't know about 6-8-2!" Bob answered, confident, "It is the time of the double! When you double 341, you have 682." And then he repeated, "This is a season of the double. Expect a time of grace, grace!"

The House of Treasures

With great excitement and eager anticipation, Bob and I swung open the massive wooden doors! There was no need for electric lights because huge skylights flooded the barn with sunlight.

The first thing we saw was a beautiful, hand-carved pulpit lying on its side. It almost blocked the entrance to the building. Our first chore was to set the pulpit upright and in its proper place.

Filled with anticipation, we moved even deeper into the building. I was stunned to discover that the building was packed from bottom to top with the most beautiful old lumber I had ever seen. It was numbered, cataloged, and stored in the most orderly manner. This was not ordinary wood – the beams were massive. The wood grain was wonderful beyond words. No beam was out of place. This was the lumber to reconstruct the Church! Every piece of wood was strong, brilliant, and beautiful. (Photo via Pixabay)

I was truly amazed at the perfect order of the barn's contents – absent of all dust and cobwebs. Somehow I knew we were in a house of authentic treasures, and that God was going to use the prophetic in a powerful way to help rediscover and rebuild His lost treasures.

In this dream given so long ago, Bob said, "This is the time of restoration of the foundational function for the Church."

5775: Double Doors, Double Portion

Deep within my spirit I know this dream has great importance for us in 2015, especially in the days ahead. An authentic reformation and radical revolution is about to return to the Church!

It's interesting to consider some of the Hebraic meanings suggested within this dream, beginning with it being quickened to me once again at the beginning of 2015. On God's Hebrew calendar, this isn't 2015, but the year 5775, which began on the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, on September 24, 2014.

As ancient Hebrew did not have numerals, but used the alphabet for its numbers (similar to the practice of ancient Rome, which used Roman numerals), it's curious to note that the numerals 5775 actually spell a Hebrew word, Tish'eh, which means to take heed, to notice, to gaze at. It can also be written Ha'tish'eh, which means Will you pay heed?

This year, we're being asked whether or not we will pay attention. To what?

Hebrew numbers are represented by letters – and the letters themselves form pictures, as most Bible students know. The 5775 forms a very distinct picture, letter by letter. Within the patterning and sequencing of the Hebrew letters, you will find an image of the Lord coming through double doors with a double portion, with His sword – His Word – warring over and nourishing His people.

How will we respond to this open double door opening with a double portion? Will we give heed to what the Spirit is saying to the Church to rebuild and reform our foundational function?

Indeed, the third and fourth blood moons are fast approaching, once again on the two Jewish feast days of Passover and Sukkot, repeating the pattern of 2014. In 2014, the blood moons occurred on Passover and Sukkot; in 2015, the blood moons will occur once again on these same feast days, on April 4, 2015 (Passover) and September 28, 2015 (Sukkot). We have a "double portion" of two blood moons on two feast days. These same heavenly signs occurred in 1492, 1948, and 1967 – significant years in history. What significant event is upon us now?

A Double Portion of Intimacy

The Hebrew word translated "barn" can also be translated "threshing place." The threshing floor is indeed the place that is being opened to us now for this most significant season ahead. The threshing floor has been leveled and made smooth. It is a place where the wheat is separated from the chaff – the place where true treasures are discovered and stored. The threshing place is the treasured place where Ruth met her Boaz, where the Church meets her God – the place of profound intimacy. How do we open the lock to this place of intimacy? What is the combination? It is our love for our neighbor and our Beloved, who calls out to us, "Grace, grace," as we read in Song of Solomon 5:5:

"I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock."

The 341 combination to unlock this intimacy with the Beloved is the shama' to Israel, calling them to take heed, to listen, and to obey, the grace of Isaiah 34:1:

"Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it."

Double Blessings...To Be a Blessing

For many years, the number 341, the number to unlock the barn's lock in the dream, was significant to Bob Jones, given to him as a special sign from God beginning in 1980, and continuing throughout his lifetime as the Lord continued to guide him.

Bonnie Jones reports that eventually she and Bob came to understand that the number 341 represented six things spiritually: 1) healing, 2) a holy convocation, 3) asking, 4) petitioning, 5) teaching received from God, and 6) prosperity.

We are being invited to draw near to God on the threshing floor, to find Him as our treasure, and to be built together into His Church. The key to unlocking this place of meeting is found in responding to His call of grace. God's grace brings gifts of healing and prosperity, but it also calls for a holy convocation of every Believer, a sanctification and setting-apart of ourselves from this world (see 2 Corinthians 7:1 AMP).

We are being called to ask, seek, knock, and petition the Lord for wisdom and revelation directly from His throne (see James 1:5). He longs to speak to His Bride and pour out His manifest love and presence – so we will be prepared for the significant season ahead. (Photo via Pixabay)

"Entering A Season Of Answered Expectations And Divine Favor

Believer, have you ever felt so down, so depressed and hopeless, that you just wanted to completely quit everything? I certainly have. I've been at that "burn out" place many times, and in this past season, it felt as if the flame to all of my passion was snuffed out! I have now realized that this can be a pattern for me. Keep in mind that I do not believe that it is God's best for me to always come to an end of myself...but, at the same time, in order to advance the Kingdom of God, self does have to end. Let me explain this a little further. Hang in there with me; I believe you will be empowered to shift in a greater way into fulfilling God's plans for your life in 2015.

I believe that 2015 will be a season that will require an atmosphere of great expectation. In fact, we will experience many answered prayers because we have "expected" God to move on our behalf. Actually, He desires to answer our prayers because it is also His heart to empower us to continue to advance the Kingdom. It is necessary that, as we gain more spiritual ground, we do not have an attitude of simply maintaining, but to know that breakthrough is given so that we continue advancing! However, the expectations that we have cannot be based upon our own abilities, gifts, and talents – otherwise we will fizzle out eventually. (Ask me how I know!) We must continue to cultivate an atmosphere of faith and expectation in God and His ability to perform what He has promised.

Zechariah 4:1-6 is one of my most favorite passages. For the sake of space, I will keep the revelation of this short; so, my main focus is this particular verse: "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, 'This is the word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit," saith Jehovah of hosts'" (ASV, with emphasis).

If you recall, the prophet was awakened by an angel and was given a vision. A few months ago, I wrote an article which was posted on The Elijah Listconcerning an "awakening angel" with messages concerning the Body of Christ awakening to the plans and purposes of God. The awakening angel was also a "scribe angel." As the angel spoke to me in a vision, I documented several messages and Scriptures. One passage in particular involved our entering into a season of increased dreams and visions. As we do this, our hearts must remain "awake" to receive God's directives. Zerubbabel was given a vision of the candlestick, such as the one in the temple. Again, there is much revelation in this passage, but I want to point out that the Church is also a candlestick, just as Jesus Himself is the candlestick. With the Church in mind, I want to say that Jesus said, "I will build My Church." However, it also up to us to co-labor with Him and allow Him to empower us to work alongside Him to fulfill Heaven's vision for establishing His Kingdom on Earth. It can seem overwhelming at times, especially if we believe it is up to "us" to use "our strength" to build it. I believe that is why the Lord told the prophet that it would not be done by might nor power...but by His Spirit

A Season on Expectation and Answered Prayers!

Precious saint, we are entering into a new season. Yes, we are on the verge of breaking into a realm where Heaven truly touches Earth and we see the results of our prayers from this past season(s). Also, many prayer directives will be given during the night season and through visions. It's not that we haven't been praying...it's all about His timing! It's time for a shift. But, it is also time to have an expectation again.

If God said He would build His Church, and if He said that His government would increase, then I am expecting that to occur (see Isaiah 9:7). In this year, we are entering into a season of answered expectations.Therefore, again, it's important to maintain an atmosphere of great expectation. Expect breakthrough, expect miracles, and expect the supernatural manifestation of God. Allow passion to arise once again, knowing that it's not in your own ability to perform these things – it's God promising them!

God moves in atmospheres of expectation. If you remember the story of when Jesus turned the water into wine, Mary, the mother of Jesus, expected something to occur. She went to Jesus and told Him they had completely run out of wine. Allow me to paraphrase His response..."So, what is it to do with Me? My time hasn't come to do miracles yet. The Father hasn't released Me to do anything about that!" Mary turned immediately to the servants, expecting Jesus to still do something about the problem, and said "Get ready...He's about to give you some instructions!" (paraphrased, see John 2).

Can you see that Mary walked in an atmosphere of expectation? Dear one, God desires to do the same for us today. He desires to move on our behalf. Everything we need to advance forward has already been provided at the Cross – yet it is up to us to expect.

An expectation is not hope...it is an eager expectation of what will happen. There is no room for doubt where there is expectation!The Lord desires that we enter into 2015 expecting answers to our prayers and expecting promises to be fulfilled. Much of the expectation within us is fueled by the fact that the Body of Christ has been pregnant with vision. Just as a woman, in the natural, can be said to be someone who is "expecting," so it is the same with the Church. We are pregnant with vision and, therefore, expecting! (Photo via Pixabay)

Many years ago (actually, almost 40 years now!), I became ill every morning. When I went to the doctor, he said, "Sandie, there's nothing seriously wrong with you...you are expecting!" Of course, we know that for a woman to be "expecting," she is also "pregnant." Believer, are you pregnant with vision? If you are, and let me confirm to you... you are! Therefore, you are "expecting"! Align your thoughts now...and say aloud...I am expecting! I am pregnant with an expectation!

Pregnant With Vision

As Believers in Christ, we need to think differently about being pregnant with vision. It is time to shift our focus from how difficult the season is (like the discomfort a mother might feel during the nine months of carrying a child)...to developing a spiritual atmosphere of excitement and expectation! As one who was pregnant in the natural, I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that one day I would see the vision of what I was carrying. I "expected" to birth! When we are "expecting," we therefore "expect" to birth! Believers, we must also expect to birth what we have been praying for and believing God to do – for our families, our ministries, for us personally, and in the marketplace.

There are many Biblical examples of those who were pregnant with vision. Simeon was one of them. He was told by the Lord that he would not die until he saw the Messiah (see Luke 2:25-30). We talked about Mary, the mother of Jesus earlier, but think about how she learned to actually "expect" an answer. Remember, she became pregnant with the seed of the Holy Spirit and was, therefore, "expecting." Of course, she birthed what the Holy Spirit entrusted to her, which was the Son of God, Jesus.

But think about this...what did she do during the hard times? How did she press through her own narrow places? For instance, I'm sure the devil targeted her thought life just as he does ours. He probably tempted her with words like..."Sure, you just thought the Holy Spirit visited you..." Yet, she fully received, by faith, expected God to fulfill His words to her, and she later gave birth. Her responsibility was to receive and later birth, but it was all empowered by the Spirit! Again, not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit!

Yet, Mary endured some hard times. Think on this a bit. She was pregnant, but not married – she had to press past local gossip. She could not allow herself to receive shame for her condition. No! She had to keep believing and trusting the Father. Then, after she birthed the Promise, she had to move that Promise to several places for protection because an enemy (King Herod) sought to destroy it! Then, later, she endured watching that Promise suffer at the Cross. (Photo via Pixabay)

Have you had promises that are at the Cross right now? I know I have had some challenges, and yes, some of my promises seem to be at the Cross... It is as if God is asking, Will you endure until this is completely birthed? I am answering, YES... even though I feel burned out. As many of you, right now, I am expecting passion to arise once again. Believer, what is your answer? I pray you can embrace this new season...EXPECT!

When an expecting, expectant mother delivers, it is the most joyful of times! I can relate in the natural, but when you have a prayer answered, it is the same as being pregnant with vision and having that vision become reality before your eyes. Precious one, you are entering into a new season...toss unbelief to the side...let go of all limitations that hinder you...it is time for breakthrough!

I have gone to great length to prepare Believers to cross over into a new season by writing several books. I would highly recommend two of them right now as I desire you to experience breakthrough: Letting Go of Your Limitations: Experiencing God's Transforming Power and Faith After Failure: Reconnecting With Your Destiny. No matter what you might consider a failure – God sees that failure as potential maturity and spiritual growth.

Evil Hindrances

With what has the devil tempted you? About what has he lied to you? Do you believe it is all up to you to shift territories, shift your business, or even shift yourself into breakthrough? The enemy would like for us to believe that lie. Satan is, as the Word says, a liar and a deceiver; he will lie to you concerning God's faithfulness and His ability to empower you to fulfill destiny! Yet, we must "awaken" to truth! We are overcomers and there is nothing impossible for God! Now, let that sink in! Keep reading – more empowerment awaits you!

I know, for a fact, that 2014 was personally one of my most challenging years. Yet, though I might be weak now, I know for a fact I am in reality stronger. After all, He promises to strengthen us, day after day, after day, right? You have been hindered from birthing because the enemy has targeted your future. King Hezekiah endured this type of pressure. While completely surrounded by the Assyrians, he said "...Thus says Hezekiah: 'This day is a day of trouble and distress and of rebuke and of disgrace; for children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to bring them forth'" (Isaiah 37:3 AMP).

The Narrow Place

The word "trouble" in this passage means "narrow place." It is an appropriate translation for a person who is "expecting" because, during delivery of the promised seed, it must pass through a very narrow place, right? And, as Hezekiah said, it feels as if you have carried this vision for a long time, you've warred over it, you've stood firm...and yet there is little strength to fully deliver.

Yes, you are in that narrow place – pregnant with vision – and the enemy is hurling false accusations at you. Do you feel too weak to fully birth what God has promised? Expect and Have Faith Today!

Apostle Paul exhorts us to not be as the children of Israel who had hard hearts and had unbelief concerning God's goodness. They were unable to leave their slavery mentality in Egypt. Allow me to address any unbelief or hardness of heart that we are tempted to carry into our new season. I believe it is time to completely let go of any hindrance that attempts to block our future. Take a moment and read Hebrews 3:7-19. Paul encouraged the Hebrews to hear God's voice, to shift from doubt and unbelief, and to EXPECT to enter into rest – all because that is what God promised!

Believer, what has God promised you? Will you hear His voice today? You can be expectant NOW, while it is still TODAY. I am in agreement with you today that 2015 will be a year of great expectation and answered prayers.

I have told many others that 2015 is also the year of "the dreamer." Dream big. Don't be afraid to dream again. Many of your dreams and desires are also God's dreams and desires for your life. In this new season, expect more supernatural encounters through heavenly dreams and visions. Song of Solomon 5:2 says that though we might be asleep, our hearts remain awake. Isn't it comforting to know that every time we dream, our hearts remain awakened to His voice and His perfect will? Therefore, knowing that He is trustworthy, let's get truly excited about 2015 and expect God's best!

Hebrew Symbols "Ayin and Hey"

As we entered into the Hebraic year of 5775 we looked into the Biblical and Hebrew symbolism of "75" or "ayin hey." In Hebrew the alphabet letters have a corresponding numerical values, as well as pictorial symbolisms.

Ayin: 70 is pictorially symbolic in that it has two eyes which represent the ability to perceive, and the choice of good or evil. Ayin is a silent letter and therefore although it sees with two eyes it does not speak, which is thought to be symbolic of humility. It can also be translated as a "fountain" of wisdom, or an "eye."

Hey: 5 is symbolic of the picture of a tent door (dalet) with a hand (yod). Hebrew4christians.com says: "Since hey is formed from dalet and yod, it can also be a picture of returning to God by means of the transforming power of the Spirit. Dalet stands for brokenness, and yod stands for a hand. Opening the door of the heart then is a picture of the Spirit of God indwelling the Believer..."

Concerning Israel, I believe that the number "5" in the year 5775, represents grace. Israel and the Jewish people will be coming into revelation of the 5 wounds of the Cross—both hands, both feet, and the pierced side—finding their Messiah, Yeshua.

 "They shall look on Him who they have pierced..." John 19:37

A Shmita Year

5775 is also a season for the United States and the nations to count the cost of His Lordship. The rest that you sow into this year will bring fertility into your thoughts and actions.

5775 is a Shmita year (the 7th year, a sabbatical year, a year of rest, a "year to let go") and a season of dormancy that prepares your inheritance to be received.

"The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow." Deuteronomy 28:12

This Shmita year for Israel and the nations is a season to rest from striving and relying on our own strength. It is a season to prepare us to receive our Jubilee inheritance in 5776.

5776 is a Jubilee year and the 70th Jubilee year observed since Joshua led the children of Israel into the Promised Land!

The number 70 corresponds with a total evolutionary cycle being complete and perfected. 

It is truly incredible, and not a coincidence, that from January 2015 we have roughly 9 months to prepare to give birth to the most powerful Jubilee year in our lifetime.

This is a critical and important time for choices and spiritual decisions—like a season of pregnancy when a woman with child has to be conscious of taking care of her body during the most critical time for forming the life of the new child.

I believe that there is a double portion anointing to all who will call on the Name of the Lord to birth a third-day revelation and see what God sees, understand it, perceive it, and have the grace, resources, and anointing to bring it to pass.

"Grace, Grace!"

I had the honor of speaking at Starting the Year Off Right at Global Spheres earlier this month (January 2015). My assignment was to release the double portion. My first revelation was that 5775 was a year that God sees and God releases great grace. I had waves of the Father's love flowing through me saying, "Son, I want you to see as I see, and experience grace as I give grace."

I knew that this level of grace and revelation that the Lord desired to release into His Body could only be received in a spiritual state of supernatural Sabbath rest. The Scripture resounded in my spirit that during this Shmita year, a Sabbath rest year, that this would be a work of the Holy Spirit, and would not be by might nor by power, but truly by His Spirit in a divine moed—meaning in God's appointed time.

As I looked down at my notes on the pulpit and read the title of my message: The Double Portion 5775/2015, the two fives were jumping off the page. The Hebraic calendar and the Gregorian calendar were numerically saying, "Grace, Grace!"

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is the tree of life." Proverbs 13:12

For 20 years I have enjoyed studying and teaching about Biblical numerology. I have witnessed the prophetic pulses of God made manifest through His numbers many times. But when a real shift is going to take place, I have observed that not only do the numbers line up, but the apostles line up, as well.

Apostolic first-fruits, apostolic Israel, apostolic first-nations, and multiple generations were present at the Starting the Year Off Right conference where they came together in one accord under the tent of "ayin hey" saying, "Even our calendar is shouting Grace, Grace as we move into 2015 to start the year off right!"

"2015: The Year Of New Beginnings"

Every year we set our hearts on a new beginning of some sort—but 2015 is different than 2014, 2013, 2012 and the years before. That's because 2015, as the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart, is the year of new beginnings.

The most significant new beginning of my life happened in a jail cell about 15 years ago. I was falsely accused of a crime I didn't commit. After losing my husband the year before, I lost just about everything else I had during the 40 days it took to see my vindication. I lost my apartment, my job, my savings, my dog—it sort of sounds like one of those sad country songs. (You can read my entire testimony here.) But I gained Christ and I consider everything else worthless compared with the value of knowing Him (Phil. 3:8).

Nothing can top my salvation experience, but I do believe 2015 will prove to be a year of new beginnings—notice the Holy Spirit told me beginnings (plural) and not beginning (singular). In 2014, many in the Body of Christ sensed they were being prepared for something—something they couldn't articulate. Many felt like they were being stretched beyond their natural limits. A Year of Birthings

I believe 2015 is a year of new beginnings and that means birthings. Last year, Ken Malone had a prophetic vision that shook him and the Lord impressed upon him that we are in a season of giving birth.

"I saw and heard the radical remnant of the Lord pregnant with the dreams and visions of the Lord. They were pregnant with the purposes of God in the earth. Many are pregnant with awakening revival for their nation, cities and families. Others are pregnant with a harvest of souls. Still others are pregnant with signs, wonders and miracles. Then there are those who are pregnant with His presence, intercession and gifts of the Holy Spirit," Malone writes.

"The radical remnant I saw and am seeing is beyond full term. Something is keeping them from delivering God's purpose. The remnant is not able to deliver. Groaning and travail as with a woman in pain of childbirth is on the remnant. But no one can deliver. Suddenly, I began to see why we could not deliver. The accuser of the brethren was standing there making accusation against the remnant. Dreams and visions from the Lord are being held hostage in the womb of the sons and daughters of the Lord by this accuser."

Preparing for New Beginnings

You can read the rest of his vision, which will encourage your heart, but I would encourage you to get ready for the birthing that will bring the new beginning. 2015 is a year of new beginnings. That means some of you are going to birth some things. That means you may be a little uncomfortable in 2015. It means you will face some transition. It means you may enter into travail. It means you will face the accuser of the brethren and engage in spiritual warfare at new levels. But you will win! It will be worth it!

What is your part to play in this birthing unto new beginnings?

Let me get real practical with you and offer four keys to equip you for this season.

1. Give your will over to the Lord.

What you are birthing may seem scary to you or it may seem insignificant to you. It may seem overwhelming to you. We can take a lesson from Mary. It's time to face your fears—fear of the unknown, fear of failing, fear of rejection, fear of transition. When the angel came to Mary and told her she would birth the Son of God, she ultimately responded: "I am the servant of the Lord. May it be unto me according to your word" (Luke 1:38).

2. Be willing to adjust your schedule.

When you are expecting a baby, you are preparing for its birth. Women, we change the way we eat, the way we sleep, how we spend our time. As we prepare to enter a year of new beginnings and birthings, we must be willing to adjust our schedules and to spend more time in the Word, in worship and in prayer. That may mean giving up other things. "Therefore, since we are encompassed with such a great cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us" (Heb. 12:1, emphasis added). (Photo via Pixabay)

3. Be willing to shift your direction.

I've had a number of baby dreams over the years. In one of my baby dreams I was nine months pregnant but the baby had stopped moving. The baby wasn't kicking or rolling or showing any sign of life. I thought the baby was dead and I panicked. Then, suddenly, I had the unction to shift the baby's position with gentle pressure from my hand. (I later researched this and discovered there's a name for it: the Diaphragmatic Release.) When I did, I could feel the baby kicking again. I knew all was well.

Sometimes things look dead but you just have to reposition yourself for life. It doesn't always take much. Just one gentle movement in the right direction can cause God to breathe on that thing again so you can birth it and begin nurturing what God has given you to steward. But you need to hear from the Lord about which way to shift. Remain close to the Holy Spirit, and "Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way, walk in it,' whenever you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left" (Is. 30:21).

If God has given you something to birth, it may be time to pull an Ezekiel and speak to those dry bones. It may be time to pull an Elijah and raise it from the dead. It may be time to walk away from the Ishmael. Refuse to abort and just reposition yourself to receive what God intended all along. You could just be in the wrong place or in the wrong time or with the wrong people. Listen to the Lord.

4. Embrace the transition.

Transitions are difficult. This is the place where people tend to grow weary and faint. The moments right before you give birth to that new thing—before you enter that new beginning—are the hardest of all. I'll write a follow up article in the coming weeks on transitions that will equip you as we move into this year of new beginnings. Amen.

Your Watch Word For 2015: "Make My Presence Your Priority"

"Make My presence your priority this year," says the Father. "Invoke My presence as you rise in the morning and rest in My presence when you lay your head down at night. Yoke up with My presence throughout your day, each day, and do not allow anything to cause you to deviate from your attentiveness with My presence.

"Make My presence your priority in 2015," says the Father. "As you immerse yourself in My presence I will guide you with My eye. I will lead you to the hidden treasures of secret place as the voice speaking over your shoulder saying, 'This is the way, walk in it...'

"I will come behind you with My wind and carry you along in the current of My river. Because My river will break out of the banks of man's limitation so you will break out of your banks and flow into and experience the full floodplain of My favor in 2015. (Photo via Wikimedia)

"You will find My favor in the morning. You will find My favor in the evening. You will sit at the table of My favor in the presence of your enemies and they will not be able to reduce you or inhibit you in anyway.

"Make My presence your priority," says the Father, "for 2015 will be a gauntlet of distraction. The tyranny of the urgent will go to war with the priority of My presence. The enemy is very time conscious for he knows his time is short – therefore he will intensify his wrath against you and against My Kingdom. Do not put your attention on the enemy but let your eye go beyond the second heaven and garner your instructions from My throne – for I will give you rule over your enemy with an iron hand.

From Authority to Authorization

"Come up higher," says the Father. "Come up out of contention and into ruling and reigning. Make My presence your priority," says the Father. "If your focus is on problems then the year will be problematic and you will have problems and be a problem. I haven't called you into problems," says the Father. "I have called you to your place of entitlement and rule at My right hand.

"Make My presence your priority," says the Father. "Set your affections upon Me and as I am, so will you be on the earth. Look to the throne and you will be enthroned. Look to My authority and you will receive authorization. I said you will move from AUTHORITY to AUTHORIZATION. Mind not small things," says the Father.

"Mind not small things but magnify Me and you will be magnified and move into the largeness of My Kingdom. Mind not the boundaries set by man or your own limited thinking and you will experience My boundlessness and enjoy a life without restriction.

"Reject contention now," says the Father. "Don't look back. Don't look back and you WILL move forward. Know that this year you are GOING where you are GIVING. Give toward greater things and greater anointings and greater ministries that you are walking in yourself and you WILL experience promotion.

"If you want to walk in the prophetic and know My voice give to the prophetic. If you want to go to the mission field give to My messengers. Give toward those works and ministries that represent the DNA of My glory churning and burning in your heart and you WILL SEE unprecedented increase.

Eat the Book!

"Establish your commitment to My Word; not just to what others say about My Word. Become a people of the book. EAT THE BOOK," says the Father.

"Eat it daily – consume it daily, and I will cause your experience and My power in your life to walk off the pages of My Book and substantiate My glory in your lives, your families, your businesses and every other area of need. I SAY AGAIN EAT THE BOOK!(Photo via Pixabay)

"Let your mouth pray, for your prayers on the earth substantiate My prayers in the heavens. As the Son ever intercedes at the right hand of the Father I am calling you to pray. As the Son prays in the heavens so I call you to pray on the earth. The prayers of earth bring the prayers of Heaven to manifestation in space and time.

"This will be a year of collisions. Step out when I tell you to and step in when I tell you to. My sovereignty and My omnipotence are coming together to release the kiss of Heaven and the kiss of My favor in your life. Fear not.

"The SKY isn't FALLING, the KINGDOM is coming and when the smoke clears it will be MY THRONE you will see established and not man's and not the enemies; for I am with you in 2015 to bring in your life to an unprecedented release of My KABOD glory in your family, in your region and cities and nations," says your Father."

In order to fully understand God's works in these days, we must go back to the year 2012 and examine the progression of God's highest purposes. In 2012 the Lord began to establish His divine rule over those who had a desire to live more fully in His Kingdom. As a result of the establishment of His government, the Lord began to bring His people into divine order, and this was the main focus of 2013.

God's order established in our lives brought us into prophetic alignment in 2014. The Spirit of the Lord has positioned us in front of the spiritual doors that prophetic motion will move us through and will reveal the pathway that will lead us into the fulfillment of our destiny.

The Trumpet (12/29/14): I hear the Lord saying, "What do you see? Do you see the door that is before you? Have you positioned yourself by faith to access what I am providing? Walk the path before you, and you will find what I have prepared for you. You will not miss it, for it is your greatest desire to go on with Me. I will walk the path of life with you and I will reveal to you the greatness of your destiny. I encourage you to go higher than you have been before. Walk The Pathway to Prophetic Destiny

This path will lead to spiritual understanding of God's purposes for each of us. There will be designated places on this path that will become flash points of God's glory that will transform and enlighten the spirit of man.

Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inner depths of his heart.

This path will produce spiritual life to those who follow the Holy Spirit, who will lead us along the path. And He will reveal hidden mysteries as we go.

Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Isaiah 45:3 I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.

God Will Provide You "Prophetic Motion"

The term "prophetic motion" was defined in a vision as being a time of spiritual movement, activity, advancement, and acceleration.

In the vision, I was standing outside of our Church building when I saw a giant wave coming toward the Church. At first, I thought it was a wave of water, but as it came closer, I could see that it was not.

I then understood that this was the glory of God coming to the Church as described inHabakkuk 3:3-4: "God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise. His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, and there His power was hidden."

As I watched this cloud of glory come to the Church, I saw people who had been aligned with the spiritual doors of this last season. They were patiently waiting to go through the door, but were unsure of themselves. Then, the glory of God came upon them and provided the "prophetic motion" that was required for movement through the door and onto the path that provided spiritual life.

Thus, the spiritual journey for this next season begins. The path leads us up the mountain of God. We will go higher in this season than ever before. It will be a time of spiritual elevation for those who follow the path of life. And...

"They shall speak of the glory of Your Kingdom, and talk of Your power"(Psalm 145:11).

The "Season of Wings" has begun, and we will be enabled by the Holy Spirit to go higher into realms of the Spirit. If we are to know God more completely, then we must go higher.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

The cry of our hearts will be:

"Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day"(Psalm 25:4-5).

The Season of Wings, and Its Symbols

1. God's Wings – His Covering.

2. The Eagle – represents prophetic vision, identified in Revelation 4:7 as a flying eagle.

3. The Dove – power of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.

Acts 1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

4. Angels – angelic help and protection.

Ezekiel 1:24 When they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army; and when they stood still, they let down their wings.

5. God's people – going higher.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Spread your wings; mount up. Purpose to go higher than you have before. It is time for elevation.

Small Straws In A Soft Wind by Marsha Burns (12/29/14): "This is the beginning of a time of elevation when you will need to set your sights on higher ground. If you will activate your faith in this direction, your access to spiritual revelation and growth will be amazing. You must, however, make a deliberate decision to receive the greatest benefit of this season," says the Lord. Isaiah 49:11 I will make each of My mountains a road, and My highways shall be elevated.

The Signs of the Blood Red Moons

These moons will again occur on Israel's feast days of Passover (4/4/15) and the Feast of Tabernacles (9/28/15). We will continue to see these blood red moons as a sign of civil unrest in the nations in the end of the age.

Luke 21:25 And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.

Luke 21:9-10 "But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately." Then He said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom."

Ezekiel 1:13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning.

This power will defeat satan's works against God's people.

Luke 10:18-19 And He said to them, "I saw satan fall like lightning from Heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

The authority of the sons of God will manifest this year as lightning that comes against satan's kingdom.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

"...He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire" (Matthew 3:11), and the fire will produce prophetic lightning strikes (proclamations) that will defeat satan's plans and attacks.

Don't Stop; Maintain Momentum

The glory of God will give us a spiritual push into this season, but it will be up to us to maintain momentum. Momentum is defined as the strength or force that something has when it is moving. It allows something to continue or grow stronger or faster as time passes.

The Trumpet (12/1/14): And the Lord says, "If you will do that which is written in My Word, then you will indeed receive the benefits of the Kingdom of God that I have in store for you. For the storehouses are about to open, and the blessings are about to flow. What I have reserved for you as the children of the end of the age will surprise all of you. My goodness is about to come in unique and powerful ways – in ways that you cannot even fathom. But, let it be known to your spirit that I can give to you abundantly and exceedingly above all that you can imagine, think, or believe. Expect My goodness to come. Embrace it today and receive it."

If we will do the work of maintaining spiritual momentum, multiplied blessings will come in this season.

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Learn How to Access Spiritual Vitality

Many of God's people will learn in this season how to access spiritual vitality that will strengthen their bodies. Divine health will become a new reality to those who learn to abide in the presence of the Holy Spirit.(Photo via Pixabay)

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

The Holy Spirit will give spiritual life by quickening your body with spiritual power that will invigorate you so that divine healing will flow. Spending time in the presence of the One who has the gift of healing (see 1 Corinthians 12:9) will bring the "times of refreshing" that is needed by the Body of Christ.

An Epic New Sound

A new sound is being brought forth by those who are truly the psalmists of this season. I was reminded of this reality when I was preparing this message. I heard this new sound (music) audibly in our house. I thought that Marsha might be playing her keyboard, but upon inquiring of her, she was not playing, and no other source of music in our house was discovered.

I then understood that the Lord was calling attention to what He has in mind, which is that a new sound will bring expansion to the pathways that are being established in this season. This sound will produce visions and will birth prophetic words to give direction and reveal God's hidden mysteries – those reserved for such a time as this.

The glory of this season has been defined in prophetic words as legendary andepic. Legendary is defined as something told about in a legend; historic content. Epic is defined as very imposing or impressive, surpassing the ordinary.

Word by Marsha Burns: This season will present opportunities to interact with history supernaturally. It's going to be big – the stuff that legends are made of. But, individually, we must stay focused and not be distracted with temporary and trivial pursuits.

Haggai 2:9 "The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former," says the LORD of hosts. "And in this place I will give peace," says the LORD of hosts.

2015: The Conclusion

This season will bring glorious opportunities to the Body of Christ. Tremendous spiritual growth will come to those who choose to allow God's prophetic motion to move them into His purposes.

I assure you that you will not be disappointed if you choose to take this spiritual journey into 2015.
